The Following notes by Gary Benton Prather :
Robertus was living in 1208, according to records in Gloucestershire. He was also a Reeve in that country (Shire). A Reeve was an official of the "Title Holder". The Reeves duties were that of a "Steward", which were somewhat like combining what we know today as a Sheriff, Governor, Bailiff, Justice, Tax Collector, etc.
