Notes for Roger Martin TANDY
Roger appears in the Gallatin co tax lists from 1808-1820 (5). May 1813, Roger was noted as not having been a resident of Gallatin county during the last year and was excused from paying taxes (2). Dec 1813, he was appointed overseer of the boon road near White's Run (2). Jan 1817, he posted bond as a security for Moses Tandy and Roger Tandy, executors of the estate of John Tandy (3) (4). July 1817, he attended John Tandy's estate sale (4-p403). Dec 1817 he was appointed guardian of Elizabeth Tandy, Judith Tandy and Lucy Tandy (3). He appears in the 1820 census in Gallatin co, near his mother and brothers (1). July 1826 he was allowed $1.00 for oxen and cart on the road (6) and was among those appointed to appraise the estate of William Parrott (6).
